The Anthurium at the top is more of a purple (see the flower behind the pollen donor) while the one at the bottom is almost exactly the color in the photo. What color is it? Well, I'm calling it SEXY.
Damn you, Mr. Subjunctive! You've got me started trying to breed my own Anthuriums. I'm leaving it to you to tell The Husband (mine, not yours) that I need some plant lights installed in the basement.
No, no, what you do is, you just start gathering all kinds of lamps and stuff in the basement yourself, but make it look like crap. Then at some point he notices, and suggests to you that maybe instead of this crappy-looking hodgepodge, he could build you a nice new rig with LEDs and other fancy crap, at which point you bat your eyelashes and be all like gee, I don't know, that sounds like it'd be an awful lot of work, are you sure you could do it, at which point he's all like, sure, it'll be a piece of cake, won't even take an afternoon, and then he does it for you in order to prove he can.*
