This blog is about gardening and nature, two subjects that are inherently intertwined. I live outside of Boston (on the edge of an urban area) and near the ocean (on the edge of the land) and my property abuts a city owned natural area (on the edge of nature) what better name?

Not a Good Sign
If you've been following this blog you know that up until this year I've always lived in warmer climates. This will be my first full New England Winter. I'm a little worried. I haven't even gotten my bulb order from Brent and Becky's yet!
Welcome to New England, Mother Nature is just testing you to see if you are a true NE Gardener. Is a little Snow, Cold and Ice going to stop you from gardening?
Is a little snow cold and ice going to stop me from gardening? Only outside. I am a total hothouse flower. Maybe after a few years in New England I'll adapt to the cold but definitely not yet!
